Tour Details

At the designated time, we'll set off from the meeting point in Santiago de Compostela. After around 30 minutes on the road, we'll arrive in Ponte Maceira, a crossing point for pilgrims heading to Finisterre and a spot where we'll hear the stories of the locals.

We'll then head to the coastal town of Muxía. Beside the Sanctuary of the Virxe da Barca, we'll learn about the Camino de Santiago along with countless mysteries and legends. During the visit, we'll also discover the story of the pedras d'Abalar and dos Cadrís.

Our route continues along the Costa da Morte to the lighthouse at Cape Finisterre. Amid these extraordinary landscapes, we'll recall various legends about the ships wrecked along these shores, considered by the Romans to be the end of the known world. You'll then have free time for lunch in the picturesque village of Finisterre, where you can sample the freshest produce the Atlantic has to offer.

After lunch, we'll stop in the town of Muros before heading to the Ézaro waterfall, the only river in Europe that ends its course by cascading directly into the ocean. Just south of here, we'll visit one of the largest hórreos (traditional Galician granaries) in the world, in the municipality of Carnota.

After taking in the Carnota hórreo, we'll make our way back to Santiago via the Muros estuary, travelling along the famous and legendary Costa da Morte.
