Sagrada Família, Park Güell & Gaudí House Museum Ticket
Antoni Gaudí, the Master of Catalan Modernism
Antoni Gaudí (1852–1926) is considered one of the key figures in world architecture thanks to his development of Catalan modernism.
From a young age, he showed a deep interest in nature, geometry, and religion, three elements that profoundly shaped his style. His architectural work stands out for three essential characteristics:
- Organic forms inspired by nature.
- Innovative use of materials such as ceramic, iron, and glass.
- Use of techniques such as trencadís, a mosaic made from irregular fragments.
Much of Gaudí's legacy can be found in Barcelona. With your combined ticket, you'll be able to visit three of his most remarkable works in the Catalan capital in a single day: the Sagrada Família, Park Güell, and the Gaudí House Museum.
Admission to the Sagrada Família
The Basilica of the Expiatory Temple of the Sagrada Família is Barcelona's great icon and Gaudí's masterpiece. Construction began in 1882 and, to this day, it still hasn't been completed.
In February 2026, the basilica's Tower of Jesus Christ was finished, reaching 172.5 meters (566 feet) and making it the tallest church in the world. A true architectural milestone!
With your ticket, you'll explore the following spaces with an audio guide in English:
Forest of Columns
Inspired by nature, Gaudí created columns that resemble tree trunks, with no straight lines and branching forms that look like limbs.
This forest of columns is lit naturally each day thanks to a beautiful set of stained glass windows. Their colors weren't chosen at random: the blues and greens (on the Nativity facade side) represent morning and peace, while the reds and oranges (on the Passion facade side) represent sunset and spiritual fire.
It's also worth pausing to take in the High Altar and the baldachin, which houses a crucified Christ surrounded by clusters of grapes and ears of wheat.
Facades
Although they can be seen from outside, your audio guide will reveal the details of each one:
- East facade: fully completed, it depicts the birth of Jesus Christ.
- West facade: also completed, it represents the Passion.
- South facade: still under construction, it symbolizes the Glory.
- Crypt and Gaudí Museum
The crypt of the Sagrada Família houses Gaudí's tomb and a museum dedicated to the work of the modernist genius.
Opening Hours
The Sagrada Família is open daily at the following times:
- April to September: 9 am to 8 pm.
- March and October: 9 am to 7 pm.
- November to February: 9 am to 6 pm.
- January 1 and 6, and December 25 and 26: 9 am to 2 pm.
- Hour of Silence: dedicated to prayer, this takes place daily from 9 am to 10 am.
Admission to Park Güell
In the early 20th century, the businessman Eusebi Güell i Bacigalupi commissioned the construction of a luxury housing development on the outskirts of Barcelona. The architect chosen for this grand project was none other than Antoni Gaudí. The venture turned out to be a failure, and only 2 of the 60 planned houses were ever built.
What remained for posterity, however, was one of the most beautiful parks in the world, opened to the public in 1926.
With your ticket and audio guide, you'll explore the following spaces:
- Entrance and Dragon Staircase
- Entrance pavilions: two little houses that look straight out of a fairy tale.
- Salamander staircase: known as the dragon, this trencadís sculpture is one of the symbols of Barcelona.
- Hypostyle Hall
Originally conceived as the development's marketplace, it features 86 Doric columns and a beautiful mosaic ceiling representing the four seasons and the lunar cycles.
Other Spaces
- Nature Square and the Serpentine Bench: one of the most famous viewpoints in Barcelona.
- Viaducts: carriage paths built with stone quarried from the site itself. They resemble natural caves or birds' nest structures.
- The Calvary of the Three Crosses: the highest point in the park. Gaudí wanted to build a chapel here, but ultimately erected this monument, which offers a stunning view over the city.
Opening Hours
Park Güell is open daily from 9:30 am to 7:30 pm.
Admission to the Gaudí House Museum
The Gaudí House Museum is located inside Park Güell. General park admission does not include access to the museum, which requires a separate ticket.
However, this combined ticket for the Sagrada Família and Park Güell also includes access to the House Museum. Curiously, this building wasn't designed by Gaudí himself, but by his disciple Francesc Berenguer.
Inside this former residence, you'll find furniture and personal objects belonging to Gaudí.
The House Museum keeps the same opening hours as Park Güell.
How Does It Work?
After booking, we'll send your tickets by email along with instructions for downloading the audio guide.
- Sagrada Família: the time you select during the booking process will be your entry time. Access is only permitted at the selected time or up to half an hour afterwards.
- Park Güell and Gaudí House Museum: your visit will take place on the date and time slot (morning or afternoon) you select during the booking process. You can choose to visit on the same day as the Sagrada Família, the day before, or the day after.
